Hairdressing, looking from the outside in, is cutting and blow drying, colouring and more, but the journey goes much deeper from the second your client is sat in your chair.
There are many aspects of hairdressing and making YOUR client feel 100% happy when they leave the salon.
These photos above shown a journey that has been taken over the last 2 years with my client who had come to her her appointment with over processed, and damaged hair. It had been bleached so much so, that her sides had snapped away.
But, with guidance and using the correct products and perseverance, we got there in the end.
These things take time, and it’s a marathon not a sprint.
At first to help with confidence we added hair extensions in the sides of her hair just to even out where the damage had happened.
Working together, with not colouring her hair and using the right hair care routine at home, as a hairdresser I can’t appreciate enough.
2years later we have growth, and condition back, and I was able to colour her hair today, giving her confidence and now working towards the perfect shade in preparation for her wedding.
It’s amazing the experience you gain as a hairdresser, and are lucky to become a part of many peoples life’s and being able to change how someone looks and feels every day.
